Becoming a Scrum Master, you need to make sure it is the right job for your personality and skills. As a career coach, I ask my clients and students a couple of questions I borrowed from Mike Cohen founder of Mountain Goat to help them make decisions if this is the career

 for them,

  • Do You Like Helping Others?

  • Do You Need to Be in the Spotlight?

  • Are You a Good Listener?

  • Can You Influence Without Authority?

  • Are You Comfortable with Uncertainty?

  • Can You Handle Conflict Well?

  • Are You Technical Enough?

Note:-

You don’t need to be technical, whatever that may mean for your products. But you need to be able to intelligently discuss progress and problems with the team.
